A Simple Ceremony

A ceremony that is personalized and as unique as your relationship. We’ll work together to find the readings and elements to make your wedding ceremony reflect your own vision and personalities. Choose from any of my sample ceremonies or we can create something completely different, whether it is short and sweet, romantic, or eclectic and quirky.
Package includes:
- Customized ceremony script (usually 15-30 min total)
- Unlimited phone and email correspondence
- In-person meeting on request (near Chelsea, preferred)
- Performance of ceremony on wedding day
- Keepsake ceremony copy
- Marriage license signing
- License mailed directly at post office
Note: Rehearsal may be added separately. If you are not having a formal rehearsal, I am happy to discuss the plan with you ahead of time and help coordinate your wedding party just before we start your ceremony.
Ceremony with Rehearsal
$650

This package includes everything in A Simple Ceremony plus a complete rehearsal at the site of your wedding. I recommend a rehearsal if you have more than a few people in your wedding party, or if you just want to feel like you know what you’re doing.
Includes coordination of ceremony from start to finish. Processional and recessional walk through, additional elements and guest readings. We’ll talk about how to walk, where to stand, what to do with your hands, and more.

Elopements & Tiny Weddings
$350
Only available in Chelsea, Dexter, Pinckney, Ann Arbor, Grass Lake, Manchester
The essence of simplicity, these tiny weddings are casual, and can be held in someone’s backyard, living room, or at a local park or restaurant. See mini-ceremonies for short samples to personalize. Elopements and micro-weddings usually consist of just you and 2 to 10 guests.
Package includes:
- Short ceremony script (usually 5-8 min total)
- Unlimited phone and email correspondence
- Performance of ceremony on wedding day
- Keepsake ceremony copy
- Marriage license signing
- License mailed directly at post office
Travel Fees
All distance/time will be calculated from my location in Chelsea to the venue or location of your choice in Southeast Michigan. I try to keep my travel time under 45 minutes one-way.
Examples are listed below but I will calculate mileage on an individual basis. Packages with rehersal double the travel fee.
Up to 25 miles: Included
(Chelsea, Dexter, Pinckney, Ann Arbor, Manchester)26-40 miles: $25
(Saline, Plymouth, Ypsilanti, Canton, Brighton, Jackson)41-50 miles: $50
(Livonia, Waldenwoods, Adrian)>50 miles (or 1 hour+): Please inquire

Payment Details
DEPOSIT: $200 non-refundable deposit due upon booking.
FULL PAYMENT: Final balance is due 1 month (30 days) before your wedding date or rehearsal.
SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS: If you book within 30 days of your wedding, full payment is due at the time of booking and must be made in advance. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
CHANGES & CANCELLATION: A change in venue location may change the package cost based on travel fees for the total distance.
Any cancellation or change must be made and verified in writing/email.
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of cancellation or change in services within 30 days of event date. If you have paid in advance, any refunds will be made in same form as original payment when possible.
PLEASE NOTE: Prices and availability are subject to change. Your price quote and date will be held for 2 weeks from your date of inquiry, and confirmed when a deposit is placed and booking form submitted.
